Shea Frimmer is a theatrical director and creative focused on bold visual and conceptual interpretations of new and existing textual work. They center liveness and collaboration in their work, building human-centered creative processes in response to the digital age.

 

They are the founding artistic director of the Youth Artists Project, an artists’ collective dedicated to incubating and producing new works by young playwrights, and the assistant technical director of Purple Crayon Players, Northwestern University's theatre for young audiences producing organization.​
