The 2025 Freshman Musical at Northwestern University was the queer punk fantasy Head Over Heels based on The Arcadia by Sir Philip Sidney with music by The Go-Go's. Performed in a lecture hall, the Freshman Musical tradition encourages spontaneity, creative problem solving, and the prioritization of community above all else.
